ExploRNA Therapeutics has received support from the Polish Medical Research Agency (ABM) for a research project focused on developing an mRNA-based therapy for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), a severe and life-threatening lung condition with limited treatment options.
The project will focus on optimizing therapeutic mRNA constructs, developing safer lipid delivery systems, and validating efficacy and safety in preclinical models. The program is co-financed by the European Union under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO). A patent application protecting the developed solution has already been filed.
